Riot Games now has to figure out how it will grow a “gaming culture that’s just finding its footing.”
League of Legends creator Riot Games has opened a new office in Gurugram, a suburb of New Delhi. The team aims to support and grow its local player community.
India presents a “unique challenge” for the studio, as the gaming culture is just finding its footing, the company wrote.
“The Riot India team will need to figure out unique solutions that work for India, so expect plenty of experimentation in publishing and community strategy in a startup-like environment.”
