With more than 10 years of practise, Pat Hines created the illustrations for his novel solely in Paint.
Time and again, artists demonstrate the capabilities of Microsoft’s Paint. With years of practise, they can create incredible artworks with this comparatively simple program.
One of these persons is Pat Hines. “I suck at Photoshop and other programs, and have worked exclusively in Microsoft Paint for over ten years,” he describes himself. He honed his MS Paint skills during long overnight shifts at a hospital reception desk. And after he wrote his own novel “Camp Redblood And The Essential Revenge”, he began to create his own illustrations.
